Ive priced the longblock version, and just buying the assembling parts and there isnt much diff. the problem is I cant build it(not good enough ) basically just looking for the block w/forged internals and to replace my tired block, opinions are ok just shopping around and had my eye on this one

 

check pricing on your local machine shops

 

buy the parts piece by piece, send 'em to my house with $500 + 100$ shipping, i'll build it, run it, send it to ya

 

Iowa doesnt really have machine shops, alot of tractor shops though

 

it's cool i just bought one not too long ago so i have to convince myself they are worth a @#$%. if i had the time and money i would have used a dart block and some probe pistons and had a shop build me a nicer motor. But in two weeks when the dss blows up i'll have the chance right primetime5.0?
