my dipstick tube is all cracked and is leaking. ive tried some different stores but they dont have any dipsticks except for ones that dont fit. I do not know the exact year of the motor( it was put in a 1988 4 cyl) but now has a 302. what years have the dipstick more in the rear of the engine i heard that erlier models 302s had it in the front by the timing chain. mine is in the rear sorry if im not describing this very well any idea what year i should ask for beacuse ford wont even look the part up if i dont know the exact year
