D&D advertises that with their front end kit and drag brakes you will knock off about 140lbs. Their k member alone is advertised to drop 72lb's. Than go with a fiberglass hood, a arms, relocate battery, delete smog, ac ps, etc. You can easily take 200lbs off your front end.

Well, thats why I said thats what they "advertise" lol

Does anyone know what the stock k member weighs? I gaurantee you my D&D weighs no more than 20-30 lbs. Its VERY light. I will weigh it when I get home tonight if anyone wants.

early 79-82 i believe foxs didnt have holes in the k-member so they are heavy. so im sure there adverticsed weight savings are based off the early heavy ones. i would guess 30-40lbs for k-member and 5-10lbs each for a-arms

x2, this sounds more realistic

EDIT: ^^ya weight it and let us know! but then we need a stocker K member weight to compare..

OK I will definetly weight it tonight. If I were to guess I would say maybe 20 lbs. But thats wierd though because D&D claims right on their website that it drops 72lbs. That would mean that the stock k member would have to be about 90-100lbs..... thats ALOT and your right... that doesnt sound correct.

Does anyone have a stock k member they want to weigh?
