In my opinion, you shouldn't do a stroker kit at all. I built my engine with parts I picked myself. This way you are ensured to have better quality parts. My machinist and I got pretty close. I hang out there sometimes, and he really hates those kits. He says they blow up, when really tested. They are great for streeting and stuff, but when you get on them, they just are inferior in quality.
It is more expensive, yes, but if it is worth doing, it is worth doing right.
That is my 0.02cents

My only stroker motor experience was NOT with a 302 but by the time the thing got balanced right the balancing cost $400!!
Summit is where I'd go for a 302/347 kit because if there is a balance problem they could do something about it.
Remember, you are only going to get about 1 HP per cubic inch you add so think, is this really a good way to more power or could I build a 302 and use real good heads and induction system and get just as much?
