Default 331 Question

Im thinkin about punchin' my 302 out to a 331. What do I need to watch out for? Any reliabilty issues I need to be aware of? Will this do more harm than good? Also how long could I expect a well built 331 to last? Im not to familiar with punching out engines, I ususaly just go the supercharger route and forget about it. Im wanting to put a hefty shot of N20 on this thing too, what would be yalls recomendations for the ammout of N20? If I do this then of course all new forged internals will be going in with it. One more thing is what kind of compression should I shoot for with N20 in mind? I would like this to be streetable so any feedback would be much appreciated.

Well 331's are heard alot with Forced Induction. If your going with the nitrous approach then I would just go with a good 347 kit.

You can run basically any compression you want
Pulled this straight from the page I linked ya.

Q: Can high compression engines utilize nitrous oxide?
A: Absolutely. High or low compression ratios can work quite suitably with nitrous oxide provided the proper balance of nitrous and fuel enrichment is maintained. NOS kits are used in applications from relatively low compression stock type motors to Pro-Modifieds, which often exceed 15 to 1. Generally, the higher the compression ratio, the more ignition retard, as well as higher octane fuel, is required. For more specific information talk to one of our technicians
