screw carbs... the only people that bash on sn-95 computers are the idiot fox owners. the only drawback to the SN-95 and MAJOR engine mods is that you need a tune where a fox will run(not well.. but they run) on a stock computer. Its is cheaper to tune your stock EEC-IV computer then it is to swap to a fox A9L

i do not think megasquirt is for you.. especially if you have to ask wether or not to do the fox comp swap. Its more involved than you know and I still have not tried putting mine in yet.

I got an adapter board from www.megaefi.com and the guy is givving me all kinds of **** about using it with a different firmware then what he uses... but I dont want to use the MSnS-E firmware.. i wanna use the MS2 firmware so i can use a maf/map blend... so its gonna be a while before i get my car running on the megasquirt because nobody can share any usefull info...

I am mildly offended by that 'idiot fox' comment. LOL

I would never bash the sn95 computer.
It has its advantages, just like a fox computer, and just like a speed density computer.

The A9* fox comversion still leaves you with a stock tune.

For a beginning tuner, look into
Anderson PMS
or
Tweecer RT

Both seem to be pretty easy to pick up and learn.

I am a tweecer user myself, so I can't speak for the pms.
I have greatly enjoyed using the tweecer.

off topic-
why does the sn95/fox swap seem to come up in swarms?
For months no one will bring it up, but right now there must be 2-3 threads in this forum alone!
Well, I guess most topics are that way though?
