Hi i have a 88 mustang i just put long tube headers with three inch exhauston it and took the smog pump off now i got no back pressure anf its running a little rough and back firering

be sure your o2 sensor stuff is right, because if it had one on old the new must be correct or it will run like crap

is it a stock motor.... if so the bigger is bette rule isn't always the case, you should have went equal length shorties into a off road midpipe to cat back (all 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" in diameter).

no, but a set ofHeads, Cam, Upper/Lower Intake, EGR Plate, TB, MAF,Gears, and maybe a power adder wouldsuit that exhaust... did you do a bit or research before buyingthe exhaust?

aparently not... long tubes will hurt your performance until you slap about 6-7k into your motor
