idle speed

idle speed

what's the standard idle speed on these things. 600 seems a little low but i always thought 900 was a little high. it idles anywhere between 400 and 1700 right now but i'm in the process of fixing and was just wondering where its suppose to be

Idle target of the EEC-IV system is 672 rpms.

Is that for all cars, Joel? My emissions sticker says 750 rpms for a 5 speed.

hmm im 5 speed and at about a grand.. but i do think im a little high

Idon't know. Mine would idle a lot better at a grand...and charge better too. I 'm just stuck on following the manufacturers recommendation of 750. I may bump it up anyway though.
