RE: fuel pressure regulator
the stock fuel pressure if you car is stock 39-41psi! If it is getting to much fuel could cause a number of dif problems. poor fuel economy, pre detination, hesitation, and mess up your sensors.

RE: fuel pressure regulator
I think he is asking what would be a good pressure to set it to. I think (I don't know) but it would be a good idea to give the guys who might know this one a list of your mods so they have a better understand of how you car is setup

RE: fuel pressure regulator
Always start with stock pressure.
Getting the pressure too high will cause fuel metering problems. Up to about 50psi should be ok, anything over that will cause problems for the injectors.
Start with stock, and adjust from there.
Summit carries fuel pressure gauges that mount on the shraeder valve of the factory fuel lines.
This is very handy to have under the hood.

RE: fuel pressure regulator
you'll slow down if you go too high. and you probably don't need to.
stock should be 42 psi W/ THE VAC LINE REMOVED
i have seen guys pick up a noticible gain by leaning out to about 35-36 psi (w/ vac on at idle)
