Default Powerdyne Question

In another post someone mentioned that the impeller is the problem area of powerdyne superchargers. If i were to replace the cheap impeller with a better unit, would the supercharger work fine for me? Are there any other problem areas on these blowers?

If they suck so bad, why do all the major retailers supply them and Im sure Powerdyne has heard customer complaints. Hell even Pep Boys sells a Powerdyne kit

yeah they do go threw bealts allthe time.. and the belts brake cause there impeller shaft bearings suck... and then housings go to **** and you get leaking boost between the housings... just plane onld jusnk... go with a kenne bell.. unless you want a ctri.. then get anything but a powerdyne.
