Default Problem with the heater...please help

hi as i was saying i have a problem with my 88 mustang GT it's a 5 speed if it helps, so getting tothe point is that whenever I turn on my heater the car doesnt throw the air hot it throws it even colder than how the weather is any one has any idea on how to fix this any suggestions would help....thanks

How does you hear control **** turn? easy? spin all the way around? It is hooked to a cable, check to make sure it issliding when you turn the ****.

the **** does work proporly since i changed it b/c it was broken and after i changed it it only goes all the way to the red part and only half way to the blue side which is cold .....lol

Get under the dash and chexck the cable.

if it only goes halfway to the blue side, that means when your fully turned to the red side, its ACTUALLY only about halfway to the end... see what you can do to adjust it

i though tmy heater was broke but it turns out there was a 160 degree thermostat in there, i out in a 190 in problem solved
