hatchbacks are more unique, they look better(especially as gt's) and notchbacks although they are badass they look like every other car from that time....

i use to say that notches look great from doors foward, but I have grown to really love the look all the way around, I own a LX hatch but would much rather have a notch, mainly b/c of the weight factor

i gotta say i own a notch but i wish it were a hatchback. Something about them i like a lot more especially gt's. If i had the chance id trade my notch for a hatch without thinking twice. My car would make a really good project car for drags though. When i save up for a new stang im going to try to sell mine to someone who wants a cheaper mustang to convert to a drag car.

I personally never like LX Hatch, n used to think they looked awwky, then like two months b4 i bought mine, i saw one on the streets that i fell in love with and from then on ive been a hatch guy instead of a coupe guy. I basically have a coupe waiting for me 2 swap a 5.0 into it w/e i want, but i wanna finsh the hatch 1st.

I like the hatch for the looks, and I want a notch to make a drag car out of...but I like em both. I never liked the notches till I came to this forum...hmmm. I will keep my hatch

on my 3rd Notch right now.................nuff said

i too hated them in the early years, i had a '90 GT i bought new in '90 and thought "why would anybody own one of these ugly things just to save a couple bucks" (referring to the coupes)

then in '91 i saw a calypso notch w/ ponies for sale........and i liked it alot....it was all over from there
