Default boss 302 clone

has anyone ever built this motor a windsor style 302 block with cleveland heads
and i read that with this setup its a guarenteed 400 hp
is this true and if so how hard is it to build this motor

if you're serious about doing it you would want the 351C-2V heads espicially for a street applications. of course you will need either a boss intake or a cleveland intake.

i'm sorry, i didn't read it well. i do know that you would have to modify the water passages in the heads to allow coolant to flow into the intake and thermostat. as far as anything else, i'm not 100% sure.

i was told what u have to do for the major parts but i am trying to find what i gotta do to the rest of hte motor. i prob will just stick wit afr heads, but i was just curious cause even the afr heads dont flow as well as the 2v cleve's

also do u thnk this motor is worth it, making this much power with the stock cam and i would put like a x cam in it and maybe see close to 500 hp

The Boss 302 motor only produced 290 horsepower.
