Default Block question

The motor in my 1992 ford mustang, will the block hold up to a 331 build, trick flow top end kit with a mild cam?

if the block is prep. right i dont see why not. im a beleiver in seasoned blocks. it just needs to be prepared by a good knowledgable person.

i thought you needed the older block with the thick webbing to avoid splittign the block..i think it was early 70's era...

he didnt say anything about how much hp he is expecting so I only said it would be fine, as long as he stay in the safe number some between 300-400hp i believe it is

Assuming you aren't running a power adder, you probably aren't going to crack that block w/ an N/A application....usually don't see power levels high enough. FYI, 450-500 rwhp on a safe tune is all the block is good for.

+1 to everything posted above. You will be more than fine. A setup like that is only going to put you around 350rwhp.... you could run a SC with that if you wanted to. Just not tons of boost.... or a small shot
