i've seen people selling their t-5's saying they're just 87-93 trannys. would one of those fit my 95 with the right bell housing or some kind of adapter? i think its going to be a little harder to find just a 94 or 95 t-5 for my car. oh yeah, i'm looking to convert it from an AODE to the T-5 if you all forgot after all my rambling. any info would be awesome

Most people are going to tell you to beef up your automatic. And it will be fater then the t-5!!!

 

i'm not just looking for a fast car though. i want this to stay as my daily driver for now, and i originally wanted a 5 speed... hence the name, "settled4automatic" will the 87-93 tranny work in my car though? they're both 5.0L.....

 

A trans swap is a really big job. Also different years of t-5's had differnt TQ ratings. You have to be careful what year you get. Basicly you better really really want a 5-speed because your in for a mess.
