i am doing a EFI to carb swap on a 5.0 motor out of a 1990 Mustang GT. the question is do i need a distributor out of carb model (1985 or before), or will the one I have on there work still?

you have to use a dis that is made for a roller motor. we did the swap on a 95 and to make it look pretty you will need to take the factory harness off. to do so you will need a aftermarket dis. we went eith a msd but be sure you get one for a roller cam or it wont work
