Default RE: BALANCE QUESTION!!! HELP!!!!

ORIGINAL: KILLA E
ok,so i swapped my 95 motor from my 95 gt to a 88 motor,
i used the flywheel and harmonic balancer from the 95 because the 88 didnt come with either,
when the motor was all in and i started it,i had a BAD vibration, so after doing some research,
i replaced my harmonic balancer with a new one, the vibration went away by about half, so then i
thought i might of had a warped flywheel or pressure plate or both so i pulled my tranny out and
put a new flywheel in from ford racing and nothing changed, still had the vibration so i took it
to a clutch shop and had a new clutch kit put in,the guy said the vibration was gone but when i
got there and started it up,STILL THERE....so my question is,he told me that he put a weight on
the flywheel because the 88 motor is external balance,so in doing that,do we have to put a weight
on the harmonic balancer to compensate? i need to know cuz this is driving me crazy,i have no idea
what it can be if its not that,i have new motor mounts so thats not it and my tranny mount is fine
i really doubt that the motor was rebuilt with ****ty pistons,so im at a loss now...any help?

i got one for a 1988 .... so is the 88 a internal balanced motor or external? if external,do i have to match the balancer weight with the flywheel weight with aftermarket weights?
