painting interior

Completely blacking out everything i can find in my car. It's all grey now, i bought the krylon fusion stuff. Can i just clean it with windex, then spray a couple coats down and i'll be safe? shud i use acetone or anything? As far as the door panels and headliner, can i do anything to paint them or must be reordered? As well as the door armrests....

I would not use windex. When I painted my interior I went to a paint shop and got DuPont Anti Static wipes and they worked great. Another thing you can use is "Total Prep" from Autozone. I have never used it with plastic pieces but I have used it on engine parts and it works great, it says you can use it on plastic so Im sure it would be fine. Also, let me know how that paint holds up, I used SEM Landau Black.

dont do it! you dont paint interior you dye it, so you already are off on a bad start. you want black interior buy it, I see it all the time on ebay, then you can go and sell your interior on ebay, it will look better and probably cost the same in the end

i said if he sells his interior, the difference would probably be alittle more than the cost of the prep and paint but it will look alot better and last forever

I will definetly agree that I much rather have a original black interior but if your trying to do it on a budget painting is the way to go. I know guys who sell full black interiors for $600+ every day.
