The wheels you show on there as 93 cobra wheels are actually like 98 or newer cobra wheels(not really sure of the year). The 93 cobra wheels are 4-lug and they have a flat center cap that covers the lugs.

Absolutely no 93 Cobra convertables made.

There were 4993 Cobras and 107 Cobra R's produced in 1993 for a total of 5100.

1FACP42D... is how the VIN should read. No Cobra came with cruise control. Only 5 options were available - PWR drivers seat, leather, CD, Rear window defrost, and Sunroof. Engine block heater, CA emissions, High Altitude principle use, and million mile odometer were also available, but don't show up on the door tag, buck tag, or VIN.

ā€¢ Unique 17x7.5 turbine style wheels (unique offset - 93 Cobra is 3/4" wider per side with unique front rotors with taller hats)
ā€¢ Opened up grill area with running horse insert
ā€¢ Unique rear bumper, side skirts and grill opening
ā€¢ Rear disc brakes
ā€¢ Snake emblems on fenders should be non-directional (DS faces to the back, passenger side faces to the front, unique to 93 Cobras)
ā€¢ LX style tailpipes
ā€¢ SVO style tail lights
ā€¢ Unique rear spoiler
ā€¢ GT40 Iron heads (3 "bars" should be visible on front of head, "GT" cast into head under valve cover
ā€¢ Black stamped steel valve covers (94-95 Cobra valve covers have "Cobra" embossed into them).
ā€¢ Crane 1.7 roller rockers, cast aluminum
ā€¢ Available in 3 colors only: Teal metallic, Vibrant Red (kinda orange red), Black
ā€¢ 70mm MAF
ā€¢ 65mm throttle body
ā€¢ Cobra (cast GT40) upper and lower intake
ā€¢ Unique mufflers and tailpipes (extended hangers on LX style tailpipes)
ā€¢ Smaller front sway bar - 28.5mm as compared to the larger 33mm unit used on the GT, the rear bar measured 21mm
ā€¢ 4 cylinder rear springs and regular 5.0 front springs. The front springs were 425/530 lbs./in progressive rate, while the rear springs had a linear rating of 160 lb./in versus a progressive 200/300 lb./in. rate used on the GT.
ā€¢ Unique struts and shocks (Tokico was the OEM supplier)
ā€¢ Unique cam (Used in 93 t birds and cougars, 94-95 Australian falcons)
ā€¢ Unique EEC (X3Z catch code)
ā€¢ 24# injectors
ā€¢ 1" bore master cylinder
ā€¢ Larger brake booster
ā€¢ Unique tranny (World Class T5) - phosphate coated 2nd and 3rd gears, steel pocket bearing retainer
ā€¢ Stock 5.0 fuel pump
ā€¢ Hardened driveshaft yoke
ā€¢ Unique brake proportioning valve
ā€¢ Non cruise leather wrapped steering wheel
ā€¢ Lettered floormats
ā€¢ Unique crank and water pump pulleys (underdriven crank, overdriven WP)
ā€¢ 3:08 ring and pinion
ā€¢ Higher-rate bushings at the forward end of the rear upper control arms

Exterior Colors: Teal Clearcoat, Vibrant Red Clearcoat, Black Clearcoat
Interior Colors: Black Cloth, Grey Cloth, Grey Leather

The biggest and easiest indicator is the VIN number. If you are looking at a convertible, then it is definitely not a Cobra.

Just to help clear up the confusion... It's THESE wheels.. Except the real ones for 1/4 of the price (hopefully anyway)

I don't have a mustang anymore, but I've got a Ford Ranger that has 17" 98 Cobra Replica's on it.. It's a shame these aren't 5 lug. I'm just gonna buy a resell. See if I can't turn a profit
