I looked over a few old posts about this but im not sure
so the stock fuel pump for a '90 5.0 is 88lph
if i get a high flow fuel pump i know i will need a pressure regulator so my question is, do i need one or does the car already have a stock one?
thanks
Of course the car has a stock one. It's on the fuel rail with a vacuum hose attatched to it toward the passenger side near or underneath the throttlebody.
yes it will work. the pressure should stay the same, bigger pump only flows more, without any other supporting fuel mods your just pushing more through the return line.

+1 I run a Walbro 255 High Pressure fuel pump with a stock fuel pressure regulator. I have used that same regulator on my large nitrous shot, when I had a blower, and when I had a blower and nitrous. They work well.
so what exactly does a upgraded fuel pump help if all your doing is shooting more fuel.....is this a dumb question or am i just not getting something because it sounds like you would push more fuel but not really see a difference out of it??? maybe a lil worse mpg or something ....man i feel stupid asking this question hah
