a 65 is fine, what are your mods? The inlet on the Trick Flow intakes are 70mm, but they don't have to be matched. Depending on your setup we'll figure out which TB is more efficient for you

I'm running a 65mm FRPP TB on my Street Heat. Size the TB for your combo, not with the inlet size on the intake.

Why? I see no relation between injectors and TB size. But I run 60lb and a 90mm if that makes a difference.

obivously then you dont know, b/c there is a relation, you want to keep you air intake into the engine matched with the fuel distribution. And i would assume youre not running 60lbers on a stock pump?

1--There isvery littlecorrelation there. The H/C/I is 95% the determining factor in what injectors to run (or the power adder, if you have one). I'm running the Street Heat intake, E cam, and ported E7's on the stock 19's, but I've got a 75mm MAF and 65mm TB. The TB does control the amount of air flowing into your engine (if your MAF is equal diameter or larger), but the size doen't directly determine what inj's you should run b/c the H/C/I combo may or may not be able to handle the extra air.

EX: A 75mm TB on a stock motor is worthless and would hurt power, just like a 60 mm TB ona TFS top end would hurt power.

2--No way in hell would a stock pump support 60# inj's.

what do u think about a 70mm tb and a 76mm maf, i have basically a pretty stock motor. i just got a good deal on a gt-40 intake and tb and maf included. would this hurt my performance or will it be ok.

The intake will help a little, as will the MAF, but I don't know that I would run that large of a TB on untouched E7's. They are the bottleneck on a stock motor....period. You can put it on, but it won't necessarily be functional since the heads won't be able to flow that much air (The intake can, but the airflow will bottleneck at the heads).

Make sure you do a full exhaust, too. A full tune up and full exhaust (headers, mid-pipe, and cat-back) is good for ~15-25rwhp over stock + the air coming into the engine has to have a place to go when you start modding the intake side of the motor.
