I'm running the XE284 in a 351W and it's a good compromise - not too radical, very easy to drive and sounds nice. I like it.
In my old 302, the cam I had was 224* at .050 on the intake and 500 lift. The XE274 is 230* at .050 and520 lift on the intake. The cam in my 302 was not radical at all and very easy to drive, made pretty good power and had good mid-range torque.

sorry for the confusion the cam i was referencing was the xe274hr not the h, the specs for the hr are

that is why i was concerned if it would work without any modifications and was wanting to know if anyone had it installed.
