im wondering it is worth changing my thermostat to a lower 180 degree ...my only mods are cai and flowmaster exhuast ...seems like messing with thermo can cause mores problems than its worth .......what u think?

 

if its not overheating dont mess with it

 

A..lower...180? What do you have in it now? You should have a 180 in it..Or some people run 160s.

 

well i just bought it ...cant be sure but ive read that they come stock with 195 ?

correct. A 180 wouldn't hurt. What type of climate do you live in?

 

if u have a stock cooling setup run the 195

 

I ran a 180, and it just made my car run different. Bad idle quality, it surged sometimes, took forever to heat up. I just put a 195 back in and it made a huge positivedifference in the way it runs.

 

denver.....got a foot + of snow and its so dry makes ur nose bleed

 

I have a 160 stat and didn't notice anything, except a longer time to warm up. I should have gone with a 180.
