4.10 is too much for a daily driver in my opinion.perfect for a weekend warrior. You can get pretty much any gears for an 8.8 or a 7.5. A 3.90 is a nice tall gear. 3.73 is popular, likewise 3.55's. OR you could get real nasty and up it to 4.60 or taller![sm=badbadbad.gif]

a friend of mine has 3.55's in his car and they're high enough so that he practically never touches first. i wouldnt go any higher than 3.73's on a street car

4:10 isn't a city driving friendly gear.. and if you need a 4;60 you don't have enough engine

Ive got 4.10's and an AOD and theyre fine. The RPM's are only up about 500 from the stock 2.73's and the car feels like it has alot more power.

My car is a pig on gas and I certainly wouldnt be able to afford to daily drive it, even with the 2.73's in it. If Im lucky I get 200 miles to a tank.

+1. What better way to take advantage of the torque of our engines than with tall gears? I have 4.10's and I love it, but I agree that if you live in a metro area and drive daily its a pain.
