4.10 is too much for a daily driver in my opinion.perfect for a weekend warrior. You can get pretty much any gears for an 8.8 or a 7.5. A 3.90 is a nice tall gear. 3.73 is popular, likewise 3.55's. OR you could get real nasty and up it to 4.60 or taller![sm=badbadbad.gif]
a friend of mine has 3.55's in his car and they're high enough so that he practically never touches first. i wouldnt go any higher than 3.73's on a street car
+1. What better way to take advantage of the torque of our engines than with tall gears? I have 4.10's and I love it, but I agree that if you live in a metro area and drive daily its a pain.
if its and aod id go with 4.10s thats what im putting in mine my friend has manual with 3.73s and they do the the job very well not to bad on gas either maintains a reasonable rpm at freeway speeds.
