do you have any security experience? I started installing security after working as an installer fulltime for over a year. I can get you the wiring diagrams and help you through it if you are able to do it. Installing alarms is different from stereos as if you get a couple of wires wrong on your stereo, you may blow some equipment. Worst case scenario is you forget to fuse a power wire, causing a vehicle fire that destroys the car. Do a bad alarm install and you may get a car that will not start or run, needs a $100 tow to a mechanic for a $100 fee just to look at it and tell you the alarm wiring caused it and it will be $500 to fix it, making you want to burn the car..........

Get the picture?

this is for the 92? The door locks are a pain on that year as they are a 5 wire, meaning you will have to use 2 relays and wiring them wrong will lead to a little more smoke, but not from your exhaust.

This would be quite an adventure if you don't have the instructions/wiring diagrams. You need to know what color wire is for what. Alarms have several wires besides the typical 12v constant, 12 switched and ground. You've got wires for the power locks if you are going to utilize that feature, you've got wires for door/hood/hatch pins, a wire for the dome light (for 12v sensing to trigger), wires for the ignition (for cut-off). The ignition is the toughest part. If you can't get the instructions, and you are not very experienced in electronics you'd be better off biting the bullet and have a Viper dealer do it for you.

I am a Full Timeinstaller at best buy and I have been doing this for over 5 years now, Alarms arent that hard. I figured out how to do all this stuff on my own and now its easier to me to put an alarm in than to put a radio in Only thing that I can say is that you need a meter and you need to Test all of the wires. I am assuming this is for the vehicle in your sig. so here it is, By the way, This is from directechs (DEI) who makes viper. They are not accountable for you f'ing up your car and neither am I.
