My car is acting up again. it was driving fine then all the sudden it dies. i roll start it but you could tell it didn't want to start. it stays on when i hit the gas but when i take it out of gear it dies.I took it stright home, turned it off and tryed to start it again but it wouldntstart as long as i turned it over for. It pops every now and then.could it be flooding itself somehow??any ideas on what it could be?

does the motor seem to be spinning faster than normal, when you crank it?

 

no it seems the same then starts slowing down cuz the battery.

 

Not sure if this helps, butI had a similar issue.My carwas doing this and it was a bad distributor. It was not firing properly and would backfire.

 

had a similar problem with the mustang I just bought it was running fine than when I got it home it kept dying when i pushed in the clutch I changed the spark plugs and it runs and indles just fine now hope this helps if it doesnt make sure you post how you fixed this problem for future reference thanks
