Default help please

ok well im def. new to the mustangs, i just got a 82 mustang, 5.0 HO, its been pretty much sitting for a while, i jumpstart it and it fires right up, smokes a bit, and kinda lobes at idle but im sure its just old ignition compopnents, my question is i get it home and the brakes go out, ebrake still good but if the car is off the pedal is tight and feels normal, start the engine and the pedal shoots to the floor with ease. i looked at the back of the calipers and nothing i figured it would be leaking fluid, the res. is fine i topped it off, so where to i look?, another thing i let the car warm up and it doesnt want to idle at all, if i rev it its fine but no idle, and when its warm oil pressure drops, im not trying to replace parts yet on the motor until i find out how good it is if its not worth it ill just drop in a rebuilt and call it a day, so any help and suggestions are appreciated, and is anyone located in Fredericksburg, VA, 22405.

Prolly your master cylider or brake booster. Do a small tune up on it and see if that helps out the idle any.

Its neither.

Sounds to me like you have a plugged line somewhere. With the car up on JACKSTANDS. Start it, and one by one plug off each brake line until you get your pedal back. Usually you start with teh right rear, then left rear, right front then left front. Youll need 4 pairs of needle nose vice grips or brake line pinching tools.

thats my first goal change the oil and plugs and clean the carb out, wouldnt the master be leaking though theres a few vac lines off too there really small and come off the pvc valve , and right behind the air cleaner cover is a vac line spot but no line there and nothing i can see is off, and in the front pass side of the bay is a box kinda low im guessing its the charcoal can, well the bigger hose on that is off and i see it but its not even long enough to reach i plugged it but no difference

ok i have it up on ramps now, the ebrake works perfect but it isnt run off the master so could it possibly be in the front more than the rear

another question the power windows worked until i got it home but i cant find any fuses blown

ok well i got a pretty good start no my tune up, still no brakes though im not loosing anyfluid anywhere i pulled the rear weels and looked the assemblies and nothing no leaking, i tried the pinch of the lines deal, and nothing still, whats my next option, i am gonna bleed all the fluid out until only new fluid if in, but then if nothing i dont know, i guess pull the master but how would just towing the car mess it up....

Is the brake booster full? andmaybe try bleeding the brakes too, if you do get them bled, that means there could really be a plugges line since fluid would come outa the bleeder vavle

well i know the front two bleeders work, i bled them today but nothing helped, the fluid is pretty dirty anyways so im gonna flush it, but im not trying to mess with the master or anything
