Default temp question

ever since my rebuild....actually if i remember right before my rebuild my car norm operating temp is about the L on normal on the gauge....does this sound a little cool to you? i asked the guy that did the rebuild and he said it was kind of weird but the car runs really good and i havent had any issues yet...could there be any potential problems or is it fine to run like that?

yeah as long as it isn't off in the other direction, and the car feels ok, don't worry about. The timing also is probably set on the chill side, like 10 degrees.

lower timing creates more heat

and with a stock gauge anywhere in the normal range is ok, but if you really want to make sure get a good aftermarket gauge. the first 1 I got was $20 sunpro crap.
