long tubes and aod?

Default long tubes and aod?

having trouble finding longtube headers for a aod car?? any help

mac and bassani are the only two companies i know that work with an aod car. bassani wants over $600 for their headers alone. remember, you have to get a short h-pipe that is also meant for an aod car because it will be different then the h-pipe for a manual tranny. i just paid $360 including shipping for my mac long tubes and catless h-pipe for my car which has an aod

Flowtech sells longtubes headers for and AOD,but the quality of them isn't the best but I guess u get what u pay for. they run around $119

I would not bother with long tubes unless your making quite a bit of power.

im in in the middle of hanging some LTs from mac on my car.$250 hts coated 15/8 2.5 collectors 369 for the C/C's.
mine were a lil more $480

youll have trouble clearing that monster starter on older stangs. If you want mac headers, you have to upgrade to either an 92-95 starter or a mini high torque starter because the collectors will sit right on the starte r and you wont be able to get the starter in. because theres no room to move it. Thats how i did mines.

wtf? the collectors for my long tubes ends about 1 foot behind the back of the motor. they arent any where near the starter

i took mine off i hated them.they leaked, was rusty, i felt like i lost some bottom end. they went with my last scrap run.
