Default 5.0 Vs 650cc Bike?

Is it possible? My best friend, who has a bike (he built it himself and it runs good), doubts my mustang, after the winter with heads, cam, upper and lower intake, MAF, 24lb injectors, throttle body and maybe some 4.10's would i smoke him? I think I would b/c its a 650. What about a 1000?

I have no clue but my buddy has a little 650 and all I can say that that lil sumbitch will roll! No way in hell would I get my *** on onea those things. Hes got a little exhaust work and some kina camshafts but he can hit 150 like its nothin. It might just be a 650, but your buddy plants his *** on an engine with 2 wheels. Run em and see what happens.

I mean i know how to ride, but im just not sure of the potential of the 5.0...I know what the bike will do, and he is a pretty good rider, we both have been riding dirt bikes for a long time. I also know a 650 doesnt stand a chance aganist a 1000. I think 4.10's would put up a good fight.

youve got to be kidding me.
If your talking about like a grandpa touring bike then maybe you have a chance or if your talking about one of those old *** 1980 bikes then you have a chance.

But if your talking about a 650 that is a crach rocket... then you have no chance whatsoever. not even if you get a good launch and he peels out for a few.

I would have to say you have not a chance. Unless it is some old underpowered bike, you can't even come close to hanging with it. I have an 03 6r (636cc) and there really isn't many stock or lightly modified cars that I've seen on the road that could beat me. There are cars that will, but they're expensive or have a ton of stuff done to them. Stock I have 125 hp for 350 pounds and I've raced different cars, some modified and some stock, and I still put 4-5 car lengths on them in the first two gears. Older bikes are a bit slower but can still beat most cars. I'm curious to what engine he has in it since he built it himself. I really don't see any logical way you can beat him unless he wrecks.

the guy built the bike, NO ONE is going to build a bike all over again, and have it be slow, that would be just a waste... if its a rice rocket bike
