Default Engine "turnover"?

Yesterday a friend informed me to be careful when buying 91-93 stangs because of a defect that causes the engine's milage to turnover after 100,000 miles.

Anyone can confrim this?

Im looking at a 91 5.0 with 67k miles

I don't have a 91-93 mustang but I know someone who does and he never has mentioned anything to me about his odometer turning over after 100,000.

if uve ever been inside of a fox then u would notice its a 5 digit odo not a 6 digit so when u hit 99,999 ur odo goes back to 1. And its not a defect.

when you register the car, you generally have to include current mileage. Same thing goes for insurance (usually.)

zero for u i see ur looking at a car with 61k well do a car fax for this vehicle and im sure ur not the second owner prop been passed around a few times so just look at car fax and if someone reg this vehicle in 2005 with 98k then u would know he has lied and that the odo has rolled. Plus if it has 61k then u shouldbe able to tell alsoif it has 161k then u should be able to tell.

my car already rolled over once and its on its way to a second one nothing wrong with a stang with 160k on it these cars last for ever as long as you treat them right(oil changes and matanance when it needs it)
