maximum motorsports sells the original ford ones becasue they dont recomend using urethane in the uppers
Do they say why...??? I thought urethane is supposed to be the shizzle...
Poly supposedly doesn't allow the proper motion needed and can cause binding.

It only takes an hour to pull the rear end out of the car if you're afraid of using a torch under the car. But you can have them pressed out as well... I'd go with the 40 buck tool if i were you... Good luck

Just buy a set of arms with the bushings in them. You get new ones, and it is probably cheaper than getting bushings and tools. Plus easier.

This is essentially what I got. Instead of the urethane bushings on one end, I have spherical ones. But the other end is the one with the stock sorry-condition rubber bushing that I need to replace.

I was able to hammer one side out witha miini sledge. I had to hit it in one time then I just hit it out. The other side was a pain since I couldnt get the hammer in there. I had to use a drill and a sawzall. Ive heard of guys using an air chisel on them.

I just drilled a bunch of holes in the rubber, and pryed it out with a screwdriver.

poly upper mounts are fine with the spherical ends on there, they will allow the suspension to move
and energy suspension sells them, I had to get the whole C/A bushing kit, they dont sell just the upper bushings.

I checked and Maximum Motorsports sells the regular ford rubber ones, for like 40 bucks.Guess I'll buy those and some torque box reinforcements. All brands of torque box reinforcements are the same essentially right? Cause ones on ebay are like $100 cheaper than ones from UPR and look the same.

But yea, I agree with the drilling a bunch of holes like silver said.

I think Summit sells the rubber bushing for $12.
