IM not sure what it looks like but the one on our 93 just bolts into the strut towers and the firewall. The previous owner put it in and they just drilled some holes and bolted it in. For Hardware check lowes or a local hardware store. Get either stainless steel or zinc coated hardware.

Yeah. All you need is good quality bolt, 2 washers per bolt and the nut. A lock washer or lock nut wouldn't hurt.

resurrecting a thread. only thing i could find...lol i have a chance to buy a steeda stb st555-5708, real low cost but it shows the apllication for 86-93 351's. it's a 2 point brace. i was wondering if anyone has used it in a 5.0 application. thank you.

I would think you would have hood clearance issues since the 351w sits taller than a 302. While your motor still sits low, the strut brace would be raised to fit a taller motor.

put one on this weekend. steeda gave a helpful hint and extra washers to place behind the brace for the lower bolts to tilt a little back so there's no distributor interference. i added a 2 point brace which ties the front LCA's together and changed the from sway bar bushings to prothane. it really tightened things up. i'll post a pic of that later. here's a pic of the rear control arm install. red wasn't my 1st choice but summit had them on sale for $99. they must've found a pallet in the warehouse. on the box it listed fitting 1979-2002 Mustangs, so i figure they must've been in hiding since back then. and then a week later they started selling the same thing with a slightly different part # for $159...lol. 790000-R vs. 790000-R W. go figure. i also put in energy susp. coil spring pads in while i had the springs out. you can see the side of the new flowmaster kit i put in, 817574. sounds sweet.
