How do you polish stuff?
IfI buy this procharger of this guy for 2grand. I want to polish it. Its satin right now. What all wouldI have to buy and what tools doI need to polish stuff? I hear it just takes a long time but isnt very expensive. I think that D-1 would look good polished with a nice trickflow R series intake
Also the intercooler is satin. Id love to polish that bad boy to. Make the Procharger ingraved on it stand out for when you look from the front of the car... Thanks guys

first take a DA sander start with 80 grit then go to 220 then 320 then 600 then 800 maybe 1000 then take a buffer with somerough cut compound and wool pad buff it real good then change to a medium foam pad hit it with medium cut the a softer pad a fine cut polish, lastly if it looks good hit it with show car glaze. keep polishing until scratches are gone. With the heavy cut polish make sure all deep scrathes are out before going to meduim. lot of work but you only have a small piece to polish compared to an intake
wow i didnt understand a word.. ha ha lol aright i understand the sanding part. I can do all that . But whats a medium cut fine cut? whats rough cut compound. sorry for the trouble lol.. ya intercooler should look good. procharger will tkae a lil while cuz of the roundness of it.
theres no way id start anywehre near 80 grit i wouldnt think that id start at anything less than 600 and id use a d/a on the flat parts they have d/a paper up to 3000 grit
