go to a junkyard and buy a 3.8l Taurus fan, its cheaper, more efficient, and will work ALOT better

+2 on the taurus fan. I have that fan on my stang. The hi speed of the fan ishooked up to a thermostat that turns it on automatically The low side of the fan is hooked up to a switch inside the car just in case something would go wrong under the hood like a wire melting that controls the high speed of the fan or the thermostat( it's happened before).

a lot of fans you can also reverse the polarity so it spins witch way you want. you just switch the wires and it can push or pull.

Theshape of the fan blade will allow this to work and not work. It will most likely be not near as efficient if you have the fan spin the other direction.

I agree with vt89. Most fans from factory applications are not meant to be reversed.

Some aftermarket ones are. They either have a fan that looks the same from either side or you remove it. Flip the fan and reinstall the assembly on the opposite side of the radiator.

A puller style fan is far more efficient than a pusher, period. The only time a pusher style setup should be used is when a puller style wont fit. The reason is simple, because having the fan mounted in front of the radiator blocks the airflow going through it alot more than having it mounted behind it. Not only that, but the pusher fan has to work harder than a puller and puts more of a strain on your charging system. So, yeah you want the puller.
