also wouldnt eat for a while[:@].......... can you get to 300-350rwhp with gt40 heads and a bcam? with alot of bolt ons? or is it not worth it, and just get used afr's........... also i was wondering, i i just replaced the gaskets and put it back together to get it smoged, then i could get offroad heads... i was wondering if non smogable heads make bigger numbers?

RE: what would you do?

I'd put a B cam in and P&P the stock heads... best bang for the buck

RE: what would you do?

Any P&P job is well worth any money you put into it as long as you're not getting ripped. Letting more air flow and flow more freely is always a plus!

RE: what would you do?

md, after i p&p stock heads, would they flow as good as g440 / gt40p? i hear the stock ones are pretty close to the worst heads there are:(

RE: what would you do?

yea with a GOOD port job you should be able to equal or barely exceed the GT40's flow stock flow, if you get a GREAT port job with bigger valves you can get real close to the flow of edlebrocks

RE: what would you do?

thanks alot md..... my goal is to get 300+ plus, and was wondering if this sounds like it would do it ... stock block / stock heads with alot of work / trick flow street intake / 70mm throttle body and egr spacer / under drive pullys / 73mm mass air / electric fan / long tube headers / catless x / 2 chamber flows .... sounds like alot, but im more than half way there:D i also know im going to need bigger injectors when going past 300
