I was looking at the ford racing diffs for my mustang. I am going to have 450hp and want to know if it would hold up. I was going to get the 31 spline.

 

yes it will, but theres better out there...

 

which ones are better than the ford racing.

 

I run the Auburn high performance series in mine with 31 spline and they are holdin up awsome, i got it from jegs for 402.99, its a great diff. , little more pricey than the ford racing one, but will hold the abuse much better especially if your going to run drag radials, i found the same auburn one in 50 resto for 398.95, so tha's bout cheapest you'll find that one

 

i like the detroit locker true trac diff. no clutches and can hold alot of torque
