EFI vs Carb
Alright im putting in a new motor in my car, 302 stroked to 347 forged internals & all kinds of other goodies. N/A for now thought. My car is a 1995 mustang sn-95 style. Would it be easier & cheaper to go with carb? Im thinking i wouldnt have to upgrade all the fuel rails & injectors and things like that if i just go with carb. Will it be harder for me to pass emmissions with carb? What all will I have to change to run a carborated setup. Im thinking that i will have to get a fuel pump that mounts on the block, instead of a intake fuel pump. If using a carb and putting out around 500 hp will i be able to use the stock computer with msd ignition 7 series box? Thanks Troy

screw carbs, youll never pass emissions with one, your gas mileage will also suck *****... just get it dyno tuned after your done, and youll be fine

Okay well if I go with fuel injected what fuel system do you guys recommend, what injectors, and what computer should I go with... Should I go with a 255lph intank pump, would that be enough? Any help is great. Thanks Troy
Well, I always advocate the Megasquirt stand alone engine managment unit.... I have it in my car.. and I love every second of it!
injectors... you could probably get away with 30#ers.... 36 at the very most. especially if your staying n/a 30 would probably be good, 36 would be a safety net

yes carbs are not as great as EFI but there a hell of alot cheaper. Ur looking at prob 1000$ worth of sh** just to get that motor running with EFI good tune, injectors etc. Carb hell 400$ and ur rolling! Plus you can sell ur computer and injectors and all other BS to cover the 400$ so u actually gain money.
