Default tach base piece

i recently bought a autometer 5" tach used from some dude by my house but he did not have the base piece that actually fastens to the dash. does anybody know if i can buy that piece by itself. or should i just try to make something myself?

I would contact autometer and tell them yours broke or something like that, see if they'll send you a new one for free, or at worst they will probably tell you where to buy one. Personally id machine a new one, but thats the pluss's of working at a machine shop =)
