I just went around the block a few times after the hci swap
seems one of therocker arms worked itself loose and tapping.
valves seemed to chattter alot at high rpm.
I went 3/4 turn after valve was closed to adjust them
do I just need to go half a turn???
how do you guys adjust your valves???
I have 1.6 crane steel roller rockers.
with the poly locks

Between 1/2 and 3/4 after zero lash is fine. Did you turn the allen head locking nut on the top of the rocker (if equipped)?

 

yeah 1/2 is a happy place. i always hear between 1/4 to 3/4 so 1/2 seems perfect.

 

Yes I turned the waazo out of that locking allen head lock im thinking 3/4 might have been to much ima go half the next time

depending on what kind of rocker arms you have and legnth push rods, could be 1/4 1/2 3/4
all rocker arms are different
