Default (possibly NSFW) Ran into problems while trying to install a new MAF

I went to my friend's house (who has the garage with the dyno, etc.) and attempted to install a MAF last night after work. But unfortunately, I never got it done. I ended up spending more time looking at other people's cars and their "decorations."

And this is why I can never get stuff doen whenI go over there. I spend more time making dyno runs, drinking beer, and trying to smoke out the entire grage by doing a burnout (yes, it's large enough to do a burnout in, lol.)

I am actually excited to get the new C&L MAF in though. With the stocker, I was maxing out around 4200 - 4300 RPM. It would peg at 4.995v and hold steady...which is a bad thing.

Some pics from the many distractions (the 800HP car being the least of the distractions):

Yeah, thought I told you about him before, lol. How do you think I am able to change my tune like on a weekly basis for free? LoL. He's got a chasis dyno, engine dyno, lift, everything.

The car in the pic was putting down 600 HP. Then he screwed around with some tuning and swapped a new carb on there and somehow pulled down 800 HP. I have no idea WTF he did but I was absoilutely amazed. I knew a car like that could put down those numbers, but I had no idea you could get 200 HP out of a carb and a tune, lol.

In one of those pics, you can see the lift in the background. And in hte two crappy quality ideos below, you can see the dyno (with the room to the engine dyno in the background.)

I'm going there tomorrow night and maybe I'll get some better pics if I'm not distracted again, lol.

Dyno 1

Dyno 2

But that gives you an idea of how big the garage is. (it's his private garage behind his house.) The cars in the pics originally posted would be behind where I was taking the video of the Camaro when it was facing me.

Yeah, I still don't know what he did. Wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself. Like I said, I know those circle track cars are built for it. The thing can rev beyond 11,000! And he has over $65,000 invested in the engine alone. But still, to swap to a buigger carb, mess with the fule, and tune a few things.... wow.

Probably more the tune than the carb, but yikes. Is it sad that I noticed the '69 Chevelle in the background first?
