Ok as yall know i have a 86 gt with a bad clutch. ( waiting on funds to replace it) Well when i first got it3 weeks ago it would miss at idle then i rev it would smooth out for a bit then miss but not when reving. Well the car has sat for about 3 weeks i start it every couple days even though its not driveable. Well yesterday i start it fine fires right up and misses hard i mean badly but revs fine once again no hesitation. but this time didnt clear up the problem grantit i only let it run about 2 mins. But it does it warm or cold. Dosent die just a sloppy idle this time it sounded like i have garbage canlobeson my cam lol. It did sound cool. But i wonder what is causeing this issue??

 

if the IAC is unplugged or not functioning right it MAY do that. MAF not functioning properly (dont know if the 86s have them) or a simple vac leak. ive never had that problem, just tossing realated things out there.

has a header burnt through a plug wire?
