In a couple magazines it shows MAF and some of them come w/ air filters, are u suppose to run the filter straight outta the MAF or can u still use fenderwell intake w/ it? thx for the help

The filter does NOT have to be directly attached to the MAF

you can run the filter anywhere you want... the advantage to putting it in the fender is so that you don't suck up hot engine bay air. cool air = good air

hey Obsol3te hows that BBK intake? friend of mine has a moroso one but was thinking of the BBK but wanted to see how it was and also i know 5.0's came in MAF and speed density but what years wheer which? why the change?

87-88 are sd unless ur in cali the 88 were maf. 89-93 were all maf. basicly every cold air intake is goin to do the same thing, if its a fender well intake, theres none better then the other. there all made the same way unless u get one that made of real crappy material. i see no reason y someone shood go pay alot of money for one. if it looks nice juss get the cheapest one u can find. there all gonna give u the same amount of power

hey thanks for the info, with all the talk of MAF i take it its a better system than sd? does it support more power?
