Default Engine whine

Ive noticed on my 87 5.0 when I rev the engine it more or less whines, and drones out the sweet exhuast. I thought it may have been the belts, but they look ok. Any ideas?

Take off the belt and start it and see if it still does it. If it doesnt make the noise you prolly got a bad bearing somewhere in one of your pulleys. Is it when your moving or at idle ?

I'm having the same problem & still can't figure it out. Does it do it at idle or only when you rev it up?

Ive only noticed when the car is parked and in neutral. It seems to happen only when I rev it. My power steering pump may actually be on it way out cause i noticed also when I turn the wheel it whines a little bit. ITs a different sound, but maybe the same thing causing it.

And I dont have an electric fan, how would I go about checking these bearings?
