Default Tires

Hey guys im in need of 2 rear tires. I live in iowa and it rains alot, so im thinking the mickey thompson et street radials might not be the best plan. So to the best of my knowledge that leaves me with bfg kdws or the nitto 555r's. Which are better for traction overall?

I have a 91 gt, also what size tires should i get 245/50/16?

BFG KDW and KDWS are both good in the rain, and the 555R is good in the rain as well as long as you arent stupid.

alrighty, as far as the 555r's go, is it true that you have to heat them up before they perform better?

also what size do you recommend for the stock pony 16rim?

Yes, you have to smoke 'em up pretty good at the track. If they make a 255 for the 16" wheel that's what I would go with.
