How do I find out what my deck height is? Where would I look on the block to find this out?

351w '69 - '70 = 9.480"
351w '71+ = 9.503"
Check the casting number and the casting mfg. date, or measure it.......

find the serial number.

The first letter is decade
second number is year of decade.

F = 1990's
E = 1980's
D = 1970's
ect ect.

So serial number starts in D5, its a 1975 block
