does the temp go up as you advance, or does it go up as you retard?

usually when you advance it but a lot depends on the engine and internal parts it has including the cam etc.

Thanks, I took it back down to 10* but it had 91 octane in it when I did it, so I dont know what the problem was. Thanks a lot for the imput though, although it is only 1* above what it was, it runs a little warmer. But not even close to hot, just was wondering.
