It could be a bad thermostat? Try changing it or the wrong one?

Maybe try to use some sealer and let it set up over night before starting it up.

use a little rtv around the edge, ive seen when shops replace thermostat gskts they wiz wheel the gskt off the housing part andend up flattening out
that little lip that the thermostat sits in and it leaks, the rtv should take care of it no prob
