Trying to figure out where to mount my 5" tach...on my '93

I know the normal place is on the shelf of the dash...but I would hate to change my mind and be stuck with holes in my dash.

My other alternative is to the side of the instrument cluster panel. It may not be as cool as the dash, but if I want to removeit...it is much easier to replace that piece than the whole dash...

What do you think...dash or instrument panel?

As opposed to the top (Where you have it), I was thinking about mounting it to the side of the instrument panel...what do you think?

 

You know, I always wanted it there...but something about drilling out the dash is really scaring me...it is not easy to replace that thing.
