Default Looking for another Nitrous Kit

I'm looking for a dry nitrous kit that will let me jet down to 25 or 50HP. I've got a friend convinced to give it a shot but he wants to start out small. And besides, I don't want him getting too big anyway. He already as a 350 and had that much of a head start on me.

I don't need the bottle, a purge, or anything fancy like that. He's taking my spare 20oz small bottle and that's hardly enough to try to purge. I figured if I can find him a small, entry level kit like that, it may just be enough to get him to go larger and get a wet kit.

Anyonehave any ideas? Most kits I see seem to only get as low as 75 - 100HP and most are wet.

Yeah. Summit didn't really have anything interesting. And nearly every kit I saw starts at 75 - 100 HP. Wet is out of the question (for now) as he's paranoid about pooling, drops in fuel pressure, etc. If anything, he will try a small dry kit. I'm sure once he feels it he'll eventually want more.

Gonna be a pain in the **** to mount this no matter what he gets. Not too much room in his engine bay to play around with. Yet another reason I hate the Z28 / LT1.

you have to pretty much pull the engines on those to do ANYTHING! i almost bought one with a rebuilt 383 stroker, there is a video of it on youtube thats pretty sick. its been in my family of friends since like '00. and it SUCKED! doing anything to that car, but oh so worth it in the end

here is that video if you were curious.

the discription in the second video is a little over the top, i dont remember the night exactly but i dont think the cobra was running 18 psi, my friend likes to stretch the true, but it was a cobra for sure!

Hrm, I'm not 100% sure, but I thought those kits were 100+ HP. I know that they sell smaller jet sizes. But I'm not sure if it would work or if it would be advisable. And I've never tuned a dry kit so I wouldn't know if that would even work that way (although I imagine it would.)

I know that on my car, for a dry kit I would either bump the fuel pressure, or (more likely) create a seperate nitrous tune that would run rich so that when i sprayed, it would balance out. I'd also spray after the MAF even though it's dry.

But when it comes to a Z28, I don't have a clue how to mess with those systems.

I think I just found a kit. If says that it is for supercharged engines, but after seeing what is in the kit, i see no reason why it wouldn't work on any car and on a N/A setup. I think they just say that it's made for S/C applications due to the low HP numbers. Only $169 without the bottle too so that's a steal.

I've dealt with these guys in the past and I've never had a problem with them. Just didn't think about them until now.
